Francois d'Allaines

François d'Allaines is a true lover of Burgundy and its wines. Winemaker and negociant, he believes in ripe grapes and long aging to reveal all the finesse and magic of this terroir. Whether the grapes come from his own vineyards (in Santenay, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard) or are purchased from trusted winegrowers, he always seeks to create wines of character, pure and elegant, authentic and easy to drink. His wines combine fruit and freshness on the nose with delicacy and depth on the palate.

Vinification, refinement and bottling always take place in his cellar, founded in 1996 in Demigny. Inside, there is an atmosphere of precision and dedication to excellence.

François' secret lies in putting the same attention in caring for small denominations as for the more renowned ones, with absolute respect for the terroir. Only in this way can it offer high-end wines with a formidable quality/price ratio.
