Collection: Gagliassi Estate

Podere Gagliassi is a winery located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, one of the most prestigious areas for the production of Barolo. Immersed in the unique landscape of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the estate authentically expresses the strength and refinement of the territory.

Today owned by the Dal Forno family, the winemaking project of Podere Gagliassi was born from the desire to enhance an extraordinary agricultural heritage with a rigorous, sustainable, and high-quality approach. The family, known for its commitment to the world of wine, has invested passionately in the care of the vineyards and in the enhancement of each individual plot.

The heart of the company's production is the Badarina cru, one of the most representative vineyards of Monforte d'Alba. Located at a significant altitude and characterized by calcareous-clay soils rich in marl, the cru yields Nebbiolo grapes capable of expressing power, longevity, and extreme elegance. From this comes a Barolo that is profound, structured, yet always balanced, capable of faithfully reflecting the character of the terroir.

Podere Gagliassi is certified organic and adopts agricultural practices that are attentive to the balance of the ecosystem: no chemical herbicides, treatments reduced to a minimum, manual work and careful vineyard selections. In the cellar, the same respect continues: spontaneous fermentations, slow aging in wood and minimal interventions, to preserve the identity of the grape and the vintage.

With a limited production and a strong sense of identity, Podere Gagliassi represents a new voice in the Barolo landscape, capable of uniting the great tradition of the Langhe region with a modern, clean and conscious vision of wine.
