Collection: Domaine Geantet-Pansiot

The Geantet-Pansiot domain was founded in 1954, when Edmond Geantet married Bernadette Pansiot. The couple settle in Gevrey where they begin working on their 3-hectare domaine of vineyards, distributed over the Gevrey-Chambertin and Burgundy appellations. After having enlarged the domaine with the purchase of other hectares, in 1977 the son, Vincent, began working for the family business.

The trust shared between father and son allows the domaine to rapidly optimize its production and to implement new methods successfully. Since 2006, Fabien has been at the helm of the company, in a natural family succession.

Geantet-Pansiot has acquired the plots year after year, up to today counting 24 hectares divided into the prestigious denominations of Gevrey-Chambertin, Clos Vougeot, Marsannay, Charmes Chambertin, Chambolle Musigny and Bourgogne. The production is about 90,000 bottles with an average age of the vines of 40 years.

Having eliminated herbicides and chemical fertilizers for many years, Geantet-Pansiot is working more and more in the direction of organic farming, with great commitment and attention to quality and health in the vineyard. During the harvest, there is a very precise selection, bunch by bunch, using a vibrating table. The Pansiot favor natural extraction and the fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts. The wines are bottled after 13 months of aging in barriques, of which 30% in new barriques, without racking, clarification or filtration.
