The grapes come from various plots in the commune of Marsannay north of Gevrey-Chambertin, the soil consists of gravel and boulders. The harvest takes place manually in small 15 kg boxes, the de-stemmed grapes are gently pressed, followed by a cold decantation of the must and fermentation in wooden barrels. The refinement takes place in 228 liter wooden barrels.
