Collection: Biscardo

This is not just the story of a company, but of a family that from father to son has passionately transported the flavor of Bussolengo to the entire world. Cantina Biscardo was founded in 1878 in Bussolengo, in the province of Verona, by Terenzio Biscardo, who at the time ran the Albergo alle Tre Corone in the town center. Terenzio was also an innkeeper, producer and wine merchant. Over the years, his sons Pompilio and Luigi expanded the range of wines, including Valpolicella, Bardolino, Merlot and Amarone. The company grew and expanded internationally, reaching Germany, England, America and other markets.

Today, the winery is run by Maurizio, Martino and Maddalena (Martino's daughter) and produces classic Veronese wines, but not only. In fact, the main wines of Valpolicella such as Ripasso and Amarone Classico Superiore are very representative of the Biscardo style, but there is no lack of interpretations capable of combining creativity and innovation, respect for the territory and an international vision, with a wise use of drying and wood.

The philosophy in the creation and production of wines is to pursue quality in every single phase, from the bottle to the label, to the liquid that is carefully selected and to the maintenance of these standards over the years. Consistency in quality is the signature of the Biscardo Family, capable of responding to the needs of different international markets with identity and personality.
