Collection: Novaia

Novaia is one of the most fascinating historic estates in the Valpolicella Classica area , located in the hills of the upper Marano Valley, an area that has always produced wines of great identity. The winery is housed in an old farmhouse surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and woods, a testament to a deep connection with the landscape and the area's agricultural tradition.

Led for generations by the Vaona family, Novaia has chosen a path focused on sustainability and the valorization of its terroir. The vineyards, cultivated organically, are located at hillside altitudes between 250 and 450 meters, where the calcareous soils and breezy microclimate allow the grapes to ripen slowly and completely, guaranteeing elegant, fresh wines with distinctive character.

The production philosophy is based on low yields, manual harvesting, and respectful vinification, with targeted aging in oak barrels and partly in concrete, to preserve the fruit's full expression. The result is a range that spans classic Valpolicella wines, Ripasso wines, and surprisingly refined Amarone and Recioto wines, all characterized by a balanced, harmonious profile that is faithful to the valley's identity.

In the glass, Novaia wines stand out for their natural elegance , aromas of cherry and ripe red fruit, spicy and balsamic notes, and a freshness that lends smoothness and depth. The Amarones combine power and finesse without excess, while the Ripassos express fullness and roundness with great drinkability.
