Château Haut-Rigaleau wines are produced on the 15 hectares of the Domaine de Vigouroux.

This primitive 12th century castrum, transformed into a fortified farm and then into a noble house, has been completely restored by its current owners, Chantal and Henri Verhaeghe, who have left it all its character and brought this farm back to its ancient activity: the cultivation of vines.

The company's soils are clayey-siliceous in nature, on calcareous bedrock.

Coming from organic farming, the Bordeaux AOC Château Haut Rigaleau red wine has a beautiful dark velvety color.

Well structured, it is fruity and robust and offers excellent aromatic persistence due to the long maceration. Aromas of grapes and blackcurrant, the aging in oak barrels brings woody notes of vanilla.

Grape varieties: 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting tips: Red and white meats, game, poultry and cheeses. It will accompany good family meals.
