History and character
Château Lynch-Bages takes its name from the Irishman Thomas Lynch, who owned it in the 18th century. Since 1939, it has belonged to the Cazes family.
Pauillac, on the left bank of the Gironde, is home to three of the five Premier Cru estates from the 1855 classification (Lafite Rothschild, Latour and Mouton Rothschild) and is the ideal terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cinquième Cru Classé in the famous 1855 classification, commissioned by Napoleon III for the Paris Universal Exhibition.
Château Lynch Bages 2011 is a Johnston Fine Wines selection for those seeking a red wine from Pauillac. Available in 75 cl: discover the other vintages in our catalogue.
