The vines are planted on granitic soil on the hills of the commune of Saint-Pierre de Boeuf. The vineyard area is 1.08 hectares.

Enjoying an exceptional view of the Alps, the Rhône and Mont Blanc, our vines are planted on a steep hill, facing south/south-east, resting on a granite base. The advantages of this superb terroir give this cuvée a refined and suave character, enhanced by aromas of sweet pepper and spices, blackcurrant and raspberry, often accompanied by notes of violet.

Ham tapas, rabbit rillettes, Landes salad, roasted rack of lamb, stuffed quail, rabbit with olives, baked beef rib, sausage with lentils, lasagna bolognese…

Grapes: 100% Syrah.

VINIFICATION AND AGING:
Long maceration (3 weeks) after destemming in thermoregulated concrete tanks. Malolactic fermentation.
Aged for 15 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new.
Alcohol: 12.5%

Domaine Rémi Niero is a small family-run estate that produces traditional wines with a high concentration of flavors in the Condrieu and Côte Rôtie appellations.

The estate is HVE (High Environmental Value) certified.
