The vines are planted on granite soil on the heights of the commune of Saint-Pierre de Boeuf. The vineyard area is 1.08 hectares.

Enjoying an exceptional view of the Alps, the Rhône and Mont Blanc, our vines are planted on a steep hillside, facing south/south-east, resting on a granite base. The advantages of this superb terroir give this cuvée a refined and suave character, enhanced by aromas of sweet pepper and spices, blackcurrant and raspberry, often accompanied by violet notes.

Tapas with ham, rabbit rillettes, Landes salad, roast rack of lamb, stuffed quail, rabbit with olives, roast rib of beef, sausage with lentils, bolognese lasagna…

VINIFICATION AND AGING:
Long maceration (3 weeks) after destemming in thermoregulated cement tanks. Malolactic fermentation.
Aged for 15 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new.
Flight. Alc: 12.5%

Domaine Rémi Niero is a small family-run estate that produces traditional wines with a great concentration of flavors in the Condrieu and Côte Rôtie appellations.

The domaine is HVE certified (high environmental value).
