APPELLATION: The grand cru Corton appellation is located on the Corton mountain which brings together the villages of Ladoix-Serrigny, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, between the Côte des Pierres (south of the Côte de Nuits, where the vines mix with Comblanchien cave of stone) and Savigny-les-Beaune (north of the Côte de Beaune). The vineyard extends from an altitude of 250 to 330 meters forming a single amphitheater in the hill.

VARIETY: 100% Pinot Noir

SURFACE: 0.86 hectares

SOIL: clayey-limestone from the Argovian area, gray limestone.

VINIFICATION: 100% harvested entirely by hand, rigorous selective selection.
Temperature regulation. Vatting for 30 days. Aged 15 months of which 12 in barrels (10% new).

TASTING NOTES: Intense purple color of great brilliance. Nose with very rich aromas, black cherries and peony flowers. Well structured in the mouth, very balanced, powerful and elegant.

AGING POTENTIAL: 15 to 20 years

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 15°C

GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS: Roasted, grilled or marinated red meats, cheeses, black pudding sautéed with apples, duck breast.
