The 2022 Primitivo di Manduria from Jorche is a wine that authentically expresses the warm and generous character of Salento. An iconic label of Apulian tradition, capable of combining aromatic intensity, structure, and balance.

Produced from 100% Primitivo grapes from vines approximately 40 years old, it grows on iron-rich soils that give the wine depth and typicality. Vinification takes place with controlled temperature fermentation and maceration on the skins, followed by aging for about 9 months in barriques and barrels and a further period in the bottle.

It presents an intense ruby red color. The bouquet is rich and enveloping, with notes of ripe red fruit, cherry, and plum, accompanied by subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full, soft, and well-structured, with balanced tannins and a pleasant persistence.

Perfect paired with savory pasta dishes, red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, it is a versatile wine with great personality, ideal for both everyday meals and convivial occasions.

An elegant and intense Primitivo, which tells the story of its territory with immediacy and harmony.
