Juan Gil - Bruto 2023

The Bruto from Bodegas Juan Gil is an iconic wine of great character, created as a tribute to the emblematic grape variety of the Jumilla region: Monastrell. An exclusive label, produced in limited quantities, it expresses the maximum intensity of the territory.

Made from 100% Monastrell grapes from mature vineyards located up to around 800 meters above sea level, it benefits from extreme climatic conditions that favor low yields and an extraordinary aromatic concentration.

Winemaking takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation and a long aging period of approximately 24 months in oak barriques, which gives the wine structure, depth, and complexity.

It presents an intense and deep cherry red color. The nose offers a rich and enveloping bouquet of ripe dark fruit, plum, and blackberry, accompanied by notes of cocoa, spices, and light toasted nuances. On the palate, it is powerful, structured, and harmonious, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Perfect paired with red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses, it is also ideal as a meditation wine for those who appreciate intense and complex reds.
