75cl
100% Chardonnay
This wine comes from the village of Clessé on land located in the heart of the appellation. The vines have an average age of 65 years and are planted on a south-east slope called "Il Monte". The altitude and good drainage of this Monte preserve the freshness of the grapes. The presses are located across 15 hectares of The Mount and the grapes are pressed without transport or delay at the harvest site. This wine is mostly vinified in stainless steel tanks and 20% of the older vines are fermented and aged in 450 or 600 liter oak barrels. Bottling takes place at the end of spring.

2019 Vintage Review, Wine Spectator: "A broad and rich release, offering flavors of peach and baking spice, with a lemony base. This is well defined and long, with citrus and spice notes lingering into the finish." - Bruce Sanderson (May 2022)
