The village of Savigny-Les-Beaune is on both sides of the River Rhoin and Les Bas Liards is one of the places in the middle of the village. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats with aging in 228-litre French oak barrels.

Review of the 2019 vintage: “Hints of roasted anise and vanilla with hints of ripe blackberry and plum flavors in this fresh and lively concentrated fruity red. While ripe in black fruit flavors, it has an elegant stitching of herbal green tones. A kiss of char on the finish lends gravitas. Ready to drink now, expected to peak through 2026."
