The Venturini family's 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva is a wine of profound elegance and power, a symbol of the most authentic tradition of Valpolicella Classica . It is made from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, grown on southwest-facing hillside terraces and hand-picked for careful natural drying in drying lofts. After a long fermentation, the wine ages in oak barrels for several years, developing its complexity and unique character.
Already in its dense, compact color, Amarone Riserva reveals its great concentration and depth. On the nose, it expresses a rich and layered bouquet: dark cherries in alcohol, dried plums, carob, and dried violets , followed by notes of nutmeg, cloves, sweet spices, and hints of undergrowth . On the palate, it is enveloping and sumptuous , with a power restrained by very fine, silky tannins that accompany a savory freshness and a long finish where memories of ripe fruit and spices return.
This wine, produced only in the finest vintages and in limited quantities , is a true Amarone for contemplation. Its longevity and ability to evolve over time make it an ideal companion for special occasions, but also an experience to be savored slowly, allowing it to unfold in the glass and reveal its full soul.
