In the ancient Valpolicella tradition, Recioto was the wine for special occasions, the sweet companion of celebrations and the most important moments of rural life. The Venturini family continues to produce it today with the same passion and dedication, fully respecting the Valpolicella Classica tradition, enhancing the natural sweetness of the dried grapes and the elegance of the terroir.

The selected grapes are harvested by hand and left to dry in the drying rooms for 3–4 months , during which they lose some of their water, concentrating sugars, aromas, and structure. This is followed by a slow fermentation , which is interrupted naturally to preserve a balanced sweetness. “Le Brugnine” ages for a long time in small French oak barrels , which give the wine enticing hints of sweet spice , making it rich, deep, and enveloping .

“Le Brugnine” displays a ruby ​​red color illuminated by vivid garnet highlights. On the nose, it offers soft sensations of small red and dark fruit jam , accompanied by notes of almond, vanilla pod, caramel, and dried blood orange peel , followed by a dusting of cocoa and licorice . The sip is sweet and warm , yet well-tanned and supported by an appropriate freshness . The long finish is savory and rich , with tasty hints of walnut, hazelnut, and fig .
