History and character

Pomerol, on the right bank, is a small appellation without official classification, where Merlot finds clay soils that produce rich and velvety wines.

It is the second vin of Château La Pointe: it is normally made from grapes from younger plots or selections not intended for the grand vin, and reflects its style.

Ballade de la Pointe 2023 is a Johnston Fine Wines offering for those looking for a Pomerol red wine. Available in 75 cl: discover the other vintages in the catalogue.
