Tommaso Bussola's L'Errante 2017 is an elegant and modern wine, combining the tradition of Valpolicella Classica with an innovative approach to winemaking. Made from a careful selection of grapes from the Negrar vineyards, this wine expresses the richness of the terroir and the distinctive personality of the winery. The name "L'Errante" evokes the free and creative spirit of the project, capable of exploring new styles without betraying the identity of Valpolicella.
The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully vinified, with controlled fermentation and brief aging in wood to enhance the fruit and natural aromas. In the glass, it stands out for its intense ruby red color and vibrant aromatic profile, with hints of cherry, ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a delicate balsamic note. On the palate, it is soft, balanced, and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins and a harmonious finish that invites a second sip.
L'Errante 2017 is a versatile wine, perfect for pairing with meat dishes, pasta with rich ragù, aged cheeses, or simply sipping on its own as a meditation wine. It is a testament to the passion and sensitivity of Tommaso Bussola, who through this wine recounts the Valpolicella region in a contemporary and refined way.

The grapes for our L'Errante are selected in the first week of September, placed in small wooden crates, and taken to the drying room, where they dry naturally for three months. In December, the grapes are carefully selected and pressed in special conical steel vats where, after approximately 10 days of maceration, fermentation begins with selected yeasts. Over the next 30 days, frequent pumping over and manual punching down of the skins are carried out. Once drawn off, the wine is transferred to a steel tank to decant the coarsest lees. After approximately 20 days, it is racked and transferred to wood vats where it completes fermentation and maturation.
