History and character

Saint-Estèphe is the northernmost of the Médoc communal appellations: its clay-rich soils produce structured, long-lived wines.

It is the third wine of Château Calon Ségur: it is usually made from grapes from younger plots or from selections not intended for the grand vin, and reflects its style.

C de Calon Ségur 2020 is a Johnston Fine Wines offering for those seeking a red wine from Saint-Estèphe. Available in 75 cl: discover the other vintages in the catalogue.
