Located in one of the highest and most panoramic positions in Valpolicella Classica, the Ca' Pigneto estate overlooks gentle hills rich in light and constantly caressed by breezes that ensure an ideal microclimate for viticulture. Here the vines mature in a balanced environment, where the altitude contributes to the aromatic finesse and freshness of the grapes.

The property is historically linked to the noble Serenelli family, guardians of the architectural and agricultural heritage of the estate. Their presence has kept Ca' Pigneto's elegant and rural style intact, preserving a harmonious balance between tradition, nature and culture.

Organoleptic Characteristics

  • Color: deep, luminous and consistent garnet red.

  • Aroma: intense and layered, with notes of kirsch, plum, blackcurrant, sweet spices, cocoa, liquorice, tobacco and subtle balsamic hints.

  • Taste: imposing yet perfectly harmonious. Warm, soft, velvety, with refined tannins and a long, enveloping finish. Great balance between power and elegance, a distinctive sign of a high-class Amarone.

Production and Method

Amarone is made from selected grapes that are left to dry for several months in traditional ventilated drying rooms. The dehydration process concentrates aromas, sugars and structure. Long vinification and aging in noble wood define a wine of extraordinary depth and long evolutionary potential.

Food Pairings

Perfect with important braised meats, game, roasts, grilled meats, aged cheeses and rich, structured dishes. Also ideal as a meditation wine, to be enjoyed slowly during the most refined moments.
