Viticulture: organic farming
A very refined and classy wine, with notes of spicy cedar, licorice and raspberry coulis, a little bergamot and oud. An excellent example of Left Bank Bordeaux, from a superb terroir between Chateau Cantermerle and Chateau Giscours.
Mille Roses was inherited by David in 1999 upon the untimely death of his parents. At the beginning, they only had 0.5 hectares of vines and, with his wife Sophie, they renovated and expanded the estate, which now has 10 hectares of vines, certified organic. He named the estate Mille Roses in honor of his mother's passion for roses. They offer beautiful and honest wines from the Margaux and Haut-médoc appellations and believe that a rich and well-balanced wine with a personal identity comes first and foremost from its terroir.

Jane Anson, Decanter:
"Good stuff from Sophie and Davie Faure, this has excellent tension in its black fruit expression, plenty of spice and concentrated cassis notes, with an earthy edge that makes it seem unfussy while still delivering personality. One to look out for. Christophe Coupez consultant ."
