History and character
Pessac-Léognan, established as an appellation in 1987 in the northern part of the Graves, is the historic cradle of Bordeaux wines and produces both red wines and great dry whites.
It is the second wine of Château Haut Brion: it is normally made from grapes from younger plots or selections not intended for the grand vin, and reflects its style.
Clarence de Haut-Brion 2011 is a Johnston Fine Wines offering for those looking for a red wine from Pessac-Léognan. Available in 75 cl: discover the other vintages in the catalogue as well.
