LOCATION: The vines grow on terraces of laminated pebbles, beautifully exposed (former bed of the Rhône). The heat from the sun stored by the pebbles during the day is returned to the earth and grapes during the night. The yield is deliberately limited to less than 30 hl/hectare.
The manual harvest is completely destemmed, the maceration lasts from 20 to 28 days, then the wine is aged for at least a year in barrels.

CHARACTERISTICS: This wine comes from a rigorous selection of the best grapes. A fine work of old vines, well cultivated and a production with low yields contribute to the development of a more concentrated wine, more suitable for aging in barrels (from ten months to a year). Liquorice wine on the palate, full-bodied enough to support any type of game. Its excellent structure makes it a long-life wine.
