Tasting notes
The wine has a deep garnet color , almost dark ruby with mahogany reflections.
On the nose it releases intense and ripe aromas: black and red fruit jam (cherry, blackberry), pine resin, brown tobacco, roasted coffee and mineral notes of flint.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and warm , with rounded, well-integrated tannins, supported by a balanced freshness. The finish is long and enveloping, with hints of ripe fruit, sweet spices, and harmoniously present oak.
Aging potential and pairings
The 2010 already shows charm but can further evolve in the bottle. Ideal with rich red meats, game, roasts, and structured dishes , it perfectly expresses the complexity of its terroir.
Serve at 16–18 °C , preferably in a large glass, with at least 30–60 minutes of oxygenation if consumed immediately.
