Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG "La Groletta"

75cl

alc. 15%

Corte Giara Amarone della Valpolicella “La Groletta” is an intense and enveloping wine born from a shared project between the Allegrini family and a select group of local winemakers, aiming to offer wines with authentic character and great balance. Made from grapes grown in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area , this Amarone embodies the perfect blend of tradition, passion, and modernity.

It is made from Corvina Veronese (70%) and Rondinella (30%) , hand-picked and left to dry for approximately 3–4 months in well-ventilated drying rooms. This process concentrates aromas, sugars, and structure, resulting in a wine of extraordinary intensity. After fermentation, the wine ages in oak barrels and barriques for approximately 15 months, achieving an elegant and persistent harmony.

In the glass, it presents a deep and luminous garnet red . On the nose, it offers broad and complex aromas of cherries in alcohol, ripe plums, sweet spices and cocoa , with light nuances of tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, it is rich, velvety and structured , with soft tannins and a warm and long finish, where notes of red fruit and spices return.

Amarone “La Groletta” is perfect to accompany important meat dishes, braised meats, game and mature cheeses , but it is also ideal as a meditation wine, to be enjoyed slowly.

With its harmonious and accessible style, the Corte Giara Amarone “La Groletta” elegantly interprets the Valpolicella tradition, offering an authentic experience signed by the expertise and passion of Allegrini .
