"The intimate reasons for this wine lie in my youth, in being an agronomist, in the land, in the Casentino people and finally in its freshness, of which the pinot noir, an absolute grape, greatly exudes in vibrant finesse and elegance.

In all the production choices made since the planting of the 3 hectares in the years 2004-2007, the scientific funds and the "techne" have accompanied the hand in the cultivation and the feet in the toil of the wine, with attention and respect.

The organic work of the 7 small vineyards Nuc, Pozzo, Fedelone, 2 Fratelli, Querce, Becco and Cuna, an Etruscan and cadastral toponym, joins the light of the sun and becomes wine  through 7/8 collections  from the “very early” of the first days of September to  “late”, when it is already October.

In doing so, I try to highlight, from the different vineyards, the many faces of Mr. Pinot: from the spark of a youth just blossomed to the balanced and solid adult up to the deep and generous maturity. The last exhausted and late grape, already cold in autumn, still innervates and vivifies in the fermentations with all the stalks, or many.

Sometimes before, sometimes after, more often during the aging process in the old Burgundy piéces, I blend the different wines into unities, where the pinot noir bears witness more to the places than to itself.
