Grape variety: 100% Gamay noir with white juice. Terroir: clayey-limestone with blue schist. Age of the vines: 45-55 years. Density: 10,000 vines/hectare. Production: 30,000 bottles. Harvest and vinification: Late manual harvest. Whole bunches. Carbonic maceration for over 10-12 days without shredding. First pressing 1 month after malolactic fermentation. Aging: Aged in cement tanks. Residual sugar: <2g/litre. Alcohol content: 13%. Tasting: This “old vines” cuvée is one of the great wines of Brouilly. An intense red color with purple reflections and powerful aromas of red fruits and vine peach illustrate the wine. On the palate it is streamlined, with an excellent structure and reveals a pleasant mineral note which precedes a very aromatic and fruity finish. Ideal temperature: 15°C.
