Altitude Between 300 and 350 metres
Soil: loamy clay loam, sub-alkaline, very poor in organic matter. Vineyard planted in 2002. Nebbiolo clones Massale selection.
Vinification: 20 days at controlled temperature with daily punching down and pumping over and a further 60 days of post-fermentation maceration on the skins. Aging 2 years in used barriques.
Tasting notes: Brilliant ruby red colour. Delicate bouquet of dried flowers and yellow fruit. On the palate it is harmonious, extremely balanced and enjoyable. The finish is silky
and characterized by finely structured tannins. The very low content of sand and organic matter is responsible for the good tannic structure and softness of the perfumes.
