History and character

Saint-Émilion, on the right bank of the Dordogne, is one of Bordeaux's most famous appellations. Its medieval village and vineyards are a UNESCO World Heritage site, and its wines are made primarily from Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

It is the second vin of Château Figeac: it is usually made from grapes from younger parcels or selections not intended for the grand vin, and reflects its style.
