History and character

Pauillac, on the left bank of the Gironde, is home to three of the five Premier Cru estates in the 1855 classification (Lafite Rothschild, Latour and Mouton Rothschild) and is the preferred terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon.

It is the estate's second vin: it is usually made from grapes from younger plots or selections not intended for the grand vin, and reflects its style.
