BARBARESCO "RIZZI"
2021
75cl
Grape variety: Nebbiolo
WINE
It represents the company's flag and clearly expresses its style, in constant search for elegance and purity. It comes from grapes harvested in the best plots of the homonymous Cru Rizzi. Since it is a fairly large vineyard area, it is normal to find discrete variations in exposure and altitude within it, as well as evident pedological differences. The result is a Barbaresco with classic traits in which the freshness of the fruit, the intensity of the undergrowth, immediacy and longevity manage to coexist.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
VINIFICATION
Harvest:
manual in crates, in the first ten days of October (with possible variations depending on the seasonal climate trend). Fermentation and maceration:
at a controlled temperature in steel tanks without exceeding 30°C, for a duration of approximately 3-4 weeks. The end of the primary fermentation is followed by malolactic fermentation which normally ends in approximately one month.
Refinement:
in large Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 12 months, then in concrete tanks for another 6-9 months and subsequently in the bottle before being released for sale.
