Origin : Northern slope of Etna

Vineyard : Altitude approximately 1000 metres above sea level

Terrain : lava, stony

Climate : High hill with strong temperature variations between day and night

Vinification : Traditional in open vats, with a percentage of whole bunches; Manual punching down for 10/12 days; racking and gentle pressing

Maturation : In used barriques

Tasting : Color: Ruby red, radiant, vivid, with slight purple hues

Aroma : Intense, rich and of good complexity, with notes of small juicy fruits, cherries and blood oranges, followed by spicy hints and aromatic herbs

Taste : Fresh, full-bodied and balanced, with juicy and soft tannins, good structure, with a pleasant and persistent finish

Aging : 5-10 years

Serving temperature : 18°C
