Terralsole's Trio 2010 is a Super Tuscan with great personality, born from the desire to interpret the Montalcino terroir through three international varieties that find surprising harmony here: Cabernet Franc , Syrah , and Merlot . The name recalls this union, a "trio" that gives life to a complex, elegant, and profoundly expressive wine.

The grapes come from the estate's vineyards located on the Montalcino hills, where the breezy climate, sharp temperature variations, and mineral-rich soils favor slow, aromatic ripening. Harvesting is done by hand, and each variety is vinified separately to preserve its distinctive characteristics before blending. Aging in wood follows, rounding out the tannins and enhancing the aromatic depth.

In the glass, it displays an intense, almost impenetrable ruby red . On the nose, it opens with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and ripe cherry, accompanied by notes of pepper, sweet tobacco, balsamic herbs, and light oriental spices. Cabernet Franc adds elegance and an aromatic touch, Syrah provides structure and depth, while Merlot softens the blend with a velvety sensation.

The palate is broad and enveloping, supported by fine, well-integrated tannins. The freshness keeps the wine balanced, while the finish is long, juicy, and complex. Trio 2010 is a wine with excellent aging potential, capable of maturing for many years, developing further nuance and refinement.
