The Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 2018 represents the pinnacle of Tedeschi's Valpolicella Classica tradition. Made with carefully selected grapes left to slowly dry, this Amarone develops complexity, concentration, and elegant aromas. In the glass, it displays a deep and luminous garnet red color, while on the nose it releases aromas of brandied cherries, plums, ripe red fruits, cocoa, vanilla, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with silky tannins, perfectly balanced between residual sweetness, structure, and freshness, with a long and persistent finish. Perfect with braised meats, game, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate, it is a sipping Amarone, destined to evolve magnificently over the years.
