The Maternigo Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva is the most refined expression of Tedeschi's Valpolicella Classica tradition. The grapes, carefully selected and slowly dried, develop extraordinary concentration and complexity. The wine has a deep and luminous garnet red color. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries in alcohol, plums, sweet spices, cocoa, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with elegant and silky tannins, a balance between structure and freshness, and a long and persistent finish. Perfect with braised meats, game, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate, it is a sipping Amarone destined to evolve magnificently in the bottle over the years.
